Miss Strickland has designed numerous shows for The University of Akron Theater Guild, animals for Touring Ensemble, and a couple pieces for University of Akron Dance Company, most notably Tom Smith’s “GIRL GANGS” in Spring 2008 on the EJ THOMAS HALL stage.January 2009 Kendra became an “A-list” stagehand/wardrobe member of the I.A.T.S.E Local 48, where she is a local roadie for concerts/theatre productions at Blossom Music Center, Akron & Canton Civic Centers, EJ Thomas Hall, and The Quicken Loans Arena. While Kendra has created a 10-year career of working backstage, she still enjoys getting up on the stage to showcase her 20 years of dance experience and performing whenever she gets the chance.
