Mark Robert Snyder-Schulte – (2002-Present) Mark began as a student putting in production tech hours in the costume shop. His senior, year he was hired by Pamela Crevcoure to assist in building costumes for Georgia’s Jekyll Island Musical Theatre Festival along with Irene Mack-Shafer. Little did he know, this was a test. Upon graduating in August of 2002 he was hired as a Production Assistant – Costumes. He continued to hone his skills working on Dance, Theatre, and Opera Costumes and eventually worked his way up to being an Assistant to the Designer. He splits his time between these two positions. He has designed costumes at the University for Godspell (Kennedy Center Honor Awarded), Picnic, A Flea in Her Ear (Kennedy Center Honor Awarded), Diviners, Twelfth Night, Shot, and Big River. He also enjoys designing for Dance and The University of Akron Opera Scenes Program. Community Costume Designs include, Seussical, Cinderella, Aladdin, and Annie Get Your Gun. Mark holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance/Musical Theatre from The University of Akron. He is the Wardrobe Master for The Ohio Light Opera in Wooster Ohio and a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 48.
